About the role:

We have a new and exciting opportunity to join our Property Maintenance Team in the role of a Joiner. Are you interested in a career with an organisation committed to making a difference to customers, tenants, and communities?
Reporting into the Repairs Managers and/or Void Supervisors you will be responsible for not only undertaking all joinery repairs to both domestic and commercial properties to a high standard but also for the delivery of excellent customer service. Providing an excellent customer service is paramount in this role, therefore you will need to be a people person with the ability to communicate and liaise effectively with a wide range of teams and colleagues within Gentoo, external stakeholders and have an ability to build and maintain honest and open relationships.

What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will have a sound working knowledge of all elements of building construction, components, materials, building trades and applicable regulations. It is therefore essential that you hold a City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Joinery or the equivalent and a current full UK driving license.

You will be customer focussed with a drive to help us to successfully deliver our ‘Right First Time’ delivery model. With a will do/can do attitude you will be passionate about the delivery of excellent customer service with a determination to deliver exceptional performance both personally and as part of a team.

You will have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to work on the out of hours rota if required.
