About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity within our housing team for a Support Manager, where you will manage older persons supported housing and an outreach Wellbeing team across the City of Sunderland. The role requires good interpersonal skills, the ability to build rapport with tenants, families, external partners, with clear KPI’s and objectives to be achieved.

You will lead a team and be responsible for extra care and sheltered housing schemes across the City as well as an outreach team who deliver assessments and support to those tenants who are struggling in their current home.
There are clear KPI’s set which you and your team will need to achieve such as voids and relet times, income collection and compliance.

As an inspirational manager, you will enthuse and motivate others to embed a strong tenant focused culture and be committed to tenant experience and satisfaction.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with peers and local stakeholders.


What we are looking for:

We are looking for a manager who is a self-motivated, innovative and experienced individual with a successful track record of delivering supported housing and / or outreach service. Strong performance delivery, financial awareness and experience of improvement to services for our tenants.
