About the role:

Are you ready for a new challenge?? We have an exciting opportunity within our housing team for a Head of Neighbourhoods, where you will manage housing stock across the City of Sunderland. The role is fast paced and varied with clear KPI’s and objectives to be achieved.

You will lead a large team and be responsible for two geographical areas delivering a front-line housing management service to approximately 7,000 social rented dwellings and tenants.

There are clear KPI’s set with ambitious stretch targets which you and your team will need to achieve which mainly relate to voids, income collection, relet times, compliance and estate management.

As an inspirational leader, you will enthuse and motivate others to embed a strong tenant focused culture and be committed to tenant experience and satisfaction.

You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with peers and local stakeholders.

You will be responsible for contributing to the overall Group strategy by delivering on operational objectives ensuring the organisation is able to respond positively and appropriately to challenges and opportunities.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a self-motivated, innovative and experienced individual with a successful track record of delivering housing at head of service or senior manager level. Strong performance delivery, good financial awareness and experience of continuous improvement to services for our tenants.
